Decorating Den- Lois Pade and associates has done 2 remodeling projects for me (Kitchen and main Bath). She and her team are highly competent. The projects were well thought out, considered my opinions. Different aspects of the project were completed on time and within budget. All of my concerns were met, her crew went above and beyond what was necessary for my satisfaction. Lois is very talented and adept in pulling together a “look” for the rooms needing updating. We knew that we wanted to remodel our kitchen to have a tropical, Latin American influence, but we had no idea how to get started. Lois took our ideas and came back with many choices from which we chose. The kitchen was gutted and we started over. Now we have a kitchen that we absolutely love! Lois and Kari, her assistant, are great to work with. When the construction started, we had a steady flow of progress that followed the work schedule. If something wasn’t working out, modifications were made as needed. We highly recommend Lois to anyone who is considering having some remodeling done. I should add that we normally do our own painting, electrical, etc., so we do know the amount of work that is required to bring such a project to fruition.

Lois is the ultimate professional. First and foremost, she listened to me. I had an extensive list of likes and don’t likes. Lois kept that top of mind and did not waste my time showing me items or designs that would not interest me. Where I needed ideas, she supplied them. When I was clueless about what to do, she supplied 2-3 options that allowed me to think and consider what might be. Her knowledge of design styles, colors, furniture configurations, space utilization is top notch. In addition, the partners she works with were all very professional. Electricians, painters, carpet and window treatment installers as well as movers were all on time, neat and mindful of my aversion to dust and messes. The quality of the furnishings is superior. I could not be happier with the end result. I love my home. Lois took what was for me looking to be an insurmountable few months of no fun decorating upheaval and turned it into a positive experience. Lois and her team provided the best possible experience for my husband and I. They are absolute professionals in every aspect of their work. Every detail was handled and scheduled meticulously and always on budget. We have had 2 rooms remodeled in the last year and are moving forward with another one soon. Lois has helped us with decorating two of our homes and we have been very pleased. She helped us with layout, furniture, paint colors and draperies.

Our fireplace was in need of an upgrade. Although we have a small home, the focal point of the open space floor plan was fading away in appearance. The budget was tight but Lois walked us through what we were able to do without breaking it. The planning and executing went off without a hitch and we are very happy with the outcome. Lois came to our house on a Saturday AM to work with me on window treatments. I really appreciated her meeting me on a weekend as I work full time. Lois spent quite a bit of time selecting blinds that were appropriate for our needs, our space and our budget. The installer came a few weeks later, again convenient to my work schedule and did a very professional job installing the blinds and keeping our home clean. I highly recommend Lois for her services and will definitely look to her again for other interior design needs.

I would totally recommend working with Lois. We just built a new home and I tried working with another decorator from another company….it just didn’t work. Then I saw Lois on Houzz.com. When I called her, I was feeling overwhelmed and desperate. After my first visit with Lois, I knew I was in good hands. She helped me realize that I didn’t need to make so many decisions all at one time. She spent time with me to get to know my style and how I wanted to use each room. Then she helped me focus on the most important decisions. The window treatments and my furniture for phase I was delivered yesterday. I love everything I purchased and am ready to start phase II. I hired Lois from Decorating Den Interiors because I was going to re-decorate my living room. I was stuck, because of the layout of the room, which is more long than wide and my focal point is my fireplace on the east end of the room. Lois came to my house and really tried to get to know ME as well as what I was looking for. She came back with a power point presentation along with fabric samples so I could actually SEE the colors and feel of the fabric, I appreciated the power point so I could also see Exactly what my room would look like in the completed setting. Lois is Very easy to work with , very pleasant, and informative. she came with several choices and if there was something I didn’t care for, she was not offended, or pushy, she just make other suggestions. I LOVED working with her. I wanted a room that gave me the feeling of being, warm, inviting & homey as well as beauty… I got EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I absolutely LOVE my new living room…and can’t wait to entertain…. thank you Lois!! Next year I want to re-do my loft area, and I WILL be calling her.

I had a long delay between initial visit and ordering. The fabric for the love seats was back ordered and caused a longer delay. Pleased with outcome.

I had Lois from the Decorating Den come in to gain ideas for window draperies for my main room. I really had no clue on what i wanted or what could be placed since we have such a unique room and i couldn’t envision what to put on the windows. I just knew it needed something to warm the space up with our high ceilings. I was highly impressed with the options she provided. We now have a beautifully decorated main room that made my house look like a brand new home. They are very easy to work with and the quality of the product is incredible. We have worked with Lois and Decorating Den for years but our most recent project, a full kitchen remodel, was by far our largest project. Lois devoted the time to understand our style, needs and desires and then presented us with design choices specific to those elements which made a potentially overwhelming project much more fun! Lois and her team handled all the contractors, scheduling, requirements, hiccups, etc and they were always available to review progress and results. From demo to debut, the project was completed in less than 5 weeks and the results and attention to detail are amazing! Our kitchen is beautiful – it feels larger, brighter, and the resultant organization and flow is much greater too. Its the hub of our home and has greatly facilitated and enhanced our love of cooking, entertaining, and just hanging out! We now have the dream kitchen we always wanted.

Decorating Den Interiors provided the design, ordering and installation for a complete makeover of our family room. After spending time in our home to assess the project, Lois Pade provided outstanding decorating suggestions to include a new couch and tables, new lamps, custom shelves, custom cornice, new rug and shelf arrangement of our accessories as well as new items from Decorating Den. Her unique grasp of color and shape contributed to overall project excellence. She is an outstanding consultant and an expert in her field. Lois worked with me on a remodel project of the Kitchen, living room, and dining room. Lois brought samples to look at, a computer layout and explained the products that would be installed. Lois listened to my comments and made changes until I was happy with the choices. We signed contracts and the work began Keri kept me up to date on all that was going on in a very timely manner. Everyone that entered into my house were very clean and professional.

We hired Lois to redo our master bedroom. She transformed the room into a beautiful, restful, lovely bedroom. We needed a total change in color, mood and style, and Lois delivered just that.

Sixteen years ago I had Decorating Den do all my window treatments in my brand new condo. I needed new blinds in my bedroom this summer and went directly back to them. I ordered new Hunter Douglas verticals and everything was done well and in a timely fashion.

Choosing color of Hunter Douglas blind to match existing – it was a perfect match! They came to the house for measurements and to install. The price above was for all services.

Shades installed. Discussed future drapes. Designer was on time and helpful. Installer was on time, courteous, efficient. He cleaned up. Wish he would have hauled away old shades, but he did put in my trash.

Lois and Keri have been a friendly team, helping us through our decision making, and final installation.
We had specific requests for American made goods, and they provided us with that. We upgraded our living room and sunroom window coverings, as well as living room furniture and floor coverings. Lois helped us with the paint colors, and Keri came with the delivery truck and made sure all was to our liking. We later requested a large round rug to put under the grand piano, and Lois and Keri ordered it quickly, and had it for pick up in just a few days. I once went into the showroom, and knowing that I was interested in American made items, Lois directed me to a few of the things on the showroom floor. I came away with a lovely American made throw for the new sofa.

Lois has done a couple of room projects in our home and is currently working on another. In our TV room she provided a piece of furniture that made a huge difference, great wallpaper in the kitchen and now renovating our bathroom. Very professional, great follow-thru.

My wife and I have worked with Lois. We started with our Kitchen, then our nursery (30 years ago).
Both rooms had wallpaper and window treatments. We have since done carpert thru the whole house, Living room furniture and window treatments. She designed our rec room in the lower level and furnished it for us. She has also designed a new kitchen and two bathrooms, including supplying all materials and contractors to complete the job. In all she has done our whole house, most rooms twice.
